Braehead Arena
This modern 5,200 capacity arena plays host to major league ice hockey matches, Disney on Ice, Davis Cup matches and World Cup Curling. For those not quite up to world standard, the eight lane curling rink is popular with beginners and league players alike.
Clydebuilt
This fascinating Maritime Heritage Centre traces the history of the famous old river, from the early days of the tobacco lords, through its heyday as a world class shipbuilding area right up to the present day. There is a wealth of exhibition material and a number of interactive displays, while MV Kyles, the oldest Clyde-built ship still afloat is moored permanently at Braehead.
Riverside walkway
Running alongside the Clyde, this pleasant leisure area offers wonderful views of the river and is dotted with benches and picnic areas - ideal for a family stroll. The maritime Playpark is brilliant for kids and features climbing nets, swings and even a pirate's ship.
Clyde View Park
A new riverside park featuring fountains, paths, cycleways, play areas, picnic areas, artwork, green space and a riverside walkway. It has been designed to encourage natural wildlife, flora and fauna, including an otter’s holt to help the laying up of otters in the Clyde.
